Licensed Independent Social Worker

Tabitha Selerowski, MSSA, LISW

Feeling disconnected in your relationship or overwhelmed by life’s changes? You don’t have to navigate it alone. Couples: I help partners reconnect, communicate, and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships. Whether you’re facing conflict, feeling stuck, or just want to deepen your bond, I create a space where both partners feel heard, understood, and supported. Individuals: I support you navigating life transitions—especially adjusting to parenthood. As a new mom myself, I understand the emotional shifts, identity changes, and pressures this season can bring. Teens: I help teens facing stress, school pressures, identity questions, or life changes. Together, we develop coping skills, confidence, and strategies for navigating challenges successfully. My approach: Warm, practical, and collaborative. I provide encouragement while gently challenging patterns that hold you back, helping you build stronger relationships, personal growth, and a life aligned with who you want to be.

I am a Licensed Social Worker who works with teens, young adults, and adults. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in 2023 and my Master’s degree in 2026 from University of Akron. I am currently working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of Allison Wolferd LISW-S I know starting therapy can feel like a big step, so I focus on creating a space where you feel comfortable and supported. My approach is collaborative and based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we work on building practical skills you can use in your daily life. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relationship concerns. I also spent three years as a victim advocate supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence. In that role, I provided emotional support, safety planning, and helped connect people to helpful resources. This experience continues to shape my trauma-informed approach. Outside of work, I enjoy reading and traveling. I also have two cats who are a big part of my life. I see therapy as a team effort. My goal is to support you, help you build confidence, and give you tools to move forward in a way that works for you.
